- Tax audit and applicable reporting assignments
- Grant-funded and project audit assignments
- Other assurance engagements with an agreed reporting basis
Engagement deliverables
The deliverable depends on the assignment and may comprise an audit report, assurance report or internal audit findings. Management remains responsible for its records, financial statements and controls.
How the work begins
- Describe the requirement. Identify the entity, proposed transaction or matter and any deadline.
- Review acceptance and scope. We assess the facts, competence, independence and other relevant professional requirements.
- Agree written terms. Confirm responsibilities, records, deliverables and the intended use of the work.
Common question
Can the same firm provide every advisory service to an audit client?
No. Independence and other restrictions must be reviewed before accepting additional work. Some services may be prohibited or require a different arrangement.
